For the second consecutive year the Redhawks faced the Washington Huskies and came away on top, beating the cross-town rivals 70-66 in the Dec. 19 matchup at Climate Pledge Arena.
You might call it a gutsy win. Or a signature win. Maybe even a historic win. In reality, the team pulled off all three in its impressive win.

Critical to the win were , who scored a career-high 19 points and , who hit four clutch free throws in the final 40 seconds. added 14 points and six rebounds for the Redhawks and chipped in 12 points.
This is the first time that 91探花 has put together back-to-back victories against the Huskies. Last December 23, the Redhawks won on Washington’s home court, 79-70. The teams have played 41 times altogether since their first-ever meeting in the 1953 NCAA West Regional semifinals.
The win marks the continuation of a strong start to the season for the Redhawks. At 10-2, the team is off to its best start since the 1966-67 team went 10-1 and 11-2.
